Avalanche was the next collection of songs.

I don't really know when a song belongs to one phase of recording or a new phase.  It just does.

"Glitter Gorillas" was written in response to an idea for a name of a fictional band that was suggested by someone on the Damned message board.
I thought that it was a great name for a song, so I wrote one.  The vocals in my head were sung in a Brian Ferry sort of style.  The only "comedy" song I have written, so far.

I seem to have a liking for tunes that build up from one simple, repeating part, and layer additional simple parts on top, resulting in a confusing mass of noise.  This is what "Avalanche, Resplendent In White" is.  It is also quite short (for me), coming in at less than three minutes.

"Don't fear My Eyes" uses a sweeping keyboard sound as its base, with guitars over the top.  There is very little in the way of vocals, with only the chorus in place, but I like the vocals.

"Once Again" is yet another instrumental, mainly as I can't think of any lyrics for it yet. 

At the moment "Renew" is probably my favourite instrumental track.
